Immediately after we sold our home in 2002, we decided to replace all of the old carpet in Footloose with hardwwod flooring.
The kitchen area had originally been done with unfinished Oak 3/4" T&G flooring and Peggy sanded an finished this. We started in the rear and completely finished the rest of the flloring with Bruce pre-finished 3/4" T&G hardwood flooring.
Above is a photo of the floor lookig from the bedroom forward. This is very low maintenance and Peggy usually keeps throw rugs on it. When they get dirty she takes them out & cleans them. When they wear out she throws them away.
