FOOTLOOSE HAS BEEN SOLD

4/11/2000

Huntsville Al.

The photo above was taken in Huntsville Alabama in April 2000 when we went to look at the bus. We were so impressed with the appearance and suitability for our needs that we committed to buy it on the spot. Three days later, it was sitting in our driveway.

The above photo was taken on September 23, 2000 after all of the Stainless Steel and aluminum wheels had been buffed. We have also cleaned and waxed the paint.
See any difference?

This Photo was taken in Kissimmie Florida on March 24, 2002 just after we had Bigfoot Levelers installed. The new Zip Dee awnings and Solar Panels on roof are visible here. We have also replaced the large rear AC with a new Duo Therm Penguin to match the two front units.

Miscellaneous Upgrades

Original Photo Front Drivers Side Original Photo (Front)

(Left Photo) 4/27/2000 front and drivers side. Coach has a bra but we have it off for some repairs.
(Right Photo) Another front view, still had not removed the original Oregon tag in this photo. The mess at top of windshield is old window film that was put on inside when coach was originally converted. This was later covered with a new strip on the outside until I remove the windshields for some reason.

Kitchen Area Living Room Skylights

(Left Photo) Is a fairly good photo of the original dining and kitchen area showing the Corian counter surfaces that were used on all counter's and tables up front.
(Center Photo)Better shot of living area. Corian surfaces and mirrors really set it off. All of the wood is either 3/4" solid Oak or 3/4" Oak plywood.
(Right Photo)One of the three laminated automotive style skylights that really provide open environment to coach. I had to replace all three of them with current models since they were leaking and replacement parts were no longer available.

Hall Bathroom Control Central

(Left Photo)Big hall closet on right and corner of rear TV. Back skylight.
(Center Photo)Bathroom showing sink which is porcelain.
Peggy has since installed ceramic tile on the countertop and floor in here.
(Right Photo)System control over driver. I had just added E-Meter here to monitor the 4 Trojan L16's in 24 VDC configuration. The top meter is a 12VDC that I plan to replace with genset hour meter. Remote for old Heart 2500 Watt unit, Jensen monitor panel, Front LP furnace, JVC CD,AM/FM, water heater, backup monitor and Cobra CB. I have completely reworked this section, see upgrade area above for new photos.

My wife Peggy beside of coach. We took the coach to a Rally at Urbanna Va. about 82 miles from home and managed to get some sunscreens for the windshield and got the eyesore in top of windshield covered with some new dark film on outside. Everything actually worked pretty good.
(Right Photo)Another front photo with sunscreens.
These were custom made on the spot by Bill Hughes' who does great work.

Brief History

The bus was converted in 1986 by Mr. Jim Williams in Grants Pass Oregon using a former Greyhound shell licensed in Oregon that had 850,000 miles on it at conversion time.
Mr Williams kept the bus for 9 years and put approximately 75,000 miles on it.
In 1995 the bus was purchased by Chris Driesbach, a professional musician who put approximately 125,000 miles on it.
We purchased it from Chris with approximately 200,000 miles on the overhaul on April 13, 2000.
